Discover the basics and begin a lifelong journey on the mat
Group Size: 6-10 participants
Duration: 6 weeks | 90-minute sessions
This program honors yoga's ancient roots while making it accessible for contemporary life. We explore all eight limbs of classical yoga—ethical principles, physical shapes, breathing practices, sense withdrawal, concentration, meditation, and states of absorption. Rather than focusing only on physical flexibility, we help you build a complete practice that extends into daily life.
Every instruction is invitational, recognizing that you know your body best. All shapes offer chair, wall, and floor variations, and staying still is always valid. We create a trauma-sensitive environment where you can reconnect with your body at your own pace, supported by research suggesting yoga may potentially enhance nervous system regulation in some individuals.
The program integrates traditional teachings with modern understanding of anatomy and neuroscience. You'll learn not just how to move, but why certain practices may support physical health, emotional balance, and mental clarity. This comprehensive approach addresses body, breath, mind, and daily life application.
Perfect for: Complete beginners, those returning after injury, people intimidated by typical studios, anyone wanting a sustainable home practice.
