We offer wellness services grounded in current research, emphasizing well-being for the mind, body, and relationships.

Kirsten Denninger, MSW, RYT-200, RCYT
My approach to wellness evolved through understanding that effective movement does not require intensity—yoga offers many pathways. Over the years, I found my place in gentler, restorative practices within smaller, intentional spaces. This inspired Feeling This Wellness Collective, where wellness becomes both accessible and practical.
I bring together certifications as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and a Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT), along with specialized training in trauma-informed practices. Currently completing yoga therapy certification (C-IAYT), I combine movement and breathwork to support people through stress, chronic discomfort, and personal wellness goals—addressing both immediate needs and long-term well-being.
My years in social work taught me that real wellness considers the whole person. This shapes how I work with others: recognizing that stress isn't just personal, and healing involves more than individual effort. Combined with my wellness training, I have created services grounded in research, honouring ancient teachings while remaining practical for modern life.
Everyone deserves access to tools that support their well-being, which is why I created a space where people can feel safe exploring wellness at their own pace. At Feeling This Wellness Collective, we believe wellness should fit into your life, not the other way around.
I look forward to supporting your journey with practices that honour where you are today while building towards where you want to be.
Why We’re Different
We take a trauma-informed approach that blends neuroscience, mindfulness, trauma-informed practices, and ancient wisdom into practical, accessible wellness education. Unlike traditional classes that focus only on movement, which can create positive feelings but rarely leads to lasting change, we go beyond the mat and shapes. Because participants often feel good during practice but struggle to carry that sense of wellness into daily life, our approach is intentionally designed to bridge that gap.
Our Innovative Structure
Each session incorporates embodied practices — moving, breathing, and experiencing wellness in your body. Education is integrated throughout, so you understand the why behind the techniques without losing the experience. Our whole-person approach offers opportunities for personal reflection and group discussion, allowing time for integration and planning how to apply session learnings in your daily life. The result is learning wellness and stress management tools that are sustainable beyond the session.

When we say wellness is for every body and mind, we truly mean it
We recognize wellness isn't always equally accessible. Systemic barriers have kept too many people out of wellness spaces. That's why everything we do offers multiple options with modifications for every practice. We celebrate what your body can do rather than how it looks.
Our programs adapt naturally through:
Physical variations (chair, wall, and floor options)
Learning flexibility (multiple teaching methods, extended processing time)
Cultural respect (secular alternatives, no appropriation)
Sensory considerations (flexible participation, quiet spaces)
Communication flexibility ("pass" always acceptable)
This isn't just about making space; it's about creating a community where everyone truly belongs, where supporting wellness happens collectively, and where your unique experience adds to our shared journey.
